Fernando Rodriguez is an Argentine-born oil painter based in Brooklyn, New York. After moving abroad to pursue a career in technology, he discovered painting through drawing and informal sketching. What began as a personal curiosity gradually developed into a committed studio practice—first in acrylics and eventually in oils, the medium at the center of his work today.

Fernando creates representational paintings across portraiture, animals, landscapes, and still life. He is particularly drawn to the ways light, color, and expressive brushwork can transform familiar subjects. Whether painting a person, a beloved pet, or a scene encountered while traveling, he aims to move beyond a literal likeness and convey a sense of presence, personality, and mood.
